Junk Removal in Sandy Springs, GA

Where We Fight Your JunkFor You.

Walk-out basements, decks over a slope, mid-century houses being gutted. The carry goes in the quote, not on the invoice.

The Quote Was Fine Until They Saw the Hill.

  • A hauler prices your basement over the phone like it opens onto a driveway. Then he arrives at a River Chase walk-out, finds sixty feet of slope between the door and his truck, and the number goes up.
That’s where the Junk Brawlers come in.
  • We ask how far the truck can get down the drive before we quote. The carry is part of the price, not an adjustment later.
  • Lower level, deck, behind the retaining wall. If it has to come up a hill, that’s what the crew came to do.
  • Tony quotes it himself and stands behind the number. Nothing gets renegotiated once the truck is parked at the road.

Here’s what it costs.

Stop Living Around It. →

A Couch Is Not a Truckload. Pay for What You’ve Got.

We price by how much space your load fills in the truck. A few pieces is a small load. A whole-room cleanout fills more. You get that number on the call, and it doesn’t move.

Quarter Truck

$150

A few items or a single piece

Half Truck

$300

Sofa, fridge, or a few mixed items

Most single-room jobs

Three-Quarter Truck

$450

Multiple items or a room cleanout

Garage & spare room jobs

Full Truck

$600

Full home cleanout or major haul

Where does a typical job land? A sofa or a couple of appliances is usually a half load. A garage cleanout or multi-room clear-out fills more. You get a firm number before we touch a thing, and it doesn’t change once we’re on site.

Here the hard part is usually the ground itself.

Nothing Here Sits on Flat Ground.

Sandy Springs runs down to the Chattahoochee on one side and up against Buckhead on the other. Both ends make for awkward jobs.

Household and renovation debris piled at the bottom of a steep bank below a deck, waiting to be carried up to the truck

The River Side: Everything Comes Back Up the Hill

River Chase, Riverside, Atlanta Country Club Estates and the Dunwoody Panhandle all sit on land that falls away toward the Chattahoochee. That grade decides how the job goes.

Houses here have walk-out basements, decks built out over a slope, and driveways that drop so far the truck has to stay at the road. Which means the sectional in the lower level, the hot tub on the deck, the pile behind the retaining wall, all of it gets carried up rather than wheeled out. That is time and hands, and it is the single thing a phone quote from a hauler who has never seen a river lot gets wrong.

Tell us it’s a walk-out or a deck job and how far the truck can get down the drive. We price the carry with everything else, once, and the number doesn’t move when the crew sees the hill.

Crew loading rolled carpet and wall panels from a renovation tear-out into the Junk Brawlers truck

The Buckhead Side: Mid-Century Houses Getting Gutted

Glenridge Hammond, Mount Vernon Woods and Mountaire Springs are full of 1950s and 60s ramblers. They sit on land that borders the most expensive corridor in Atlanta, so they rarely just change hands quietly.

They get gutted. Carpet and padding out to the subfloor, the original kitchen on the driveway, panelling, closet doors, a bathroom’s worth of tile. Often the same week the family clears out what was in the house to begin with, which makes it two jobs stacked together: an estate cleanout and a renovation haul.

We take both in the same visit rather than making you book a cleanout crew and then a debris crew. Old appliances handled properly, tear-out loaded, and whatever can be donated or resold pulled aside before the rest of it goes.

Here’s the owner who prices those jobs.

He Walks the Slope Before He Gives You a Number.

Tony Frias, owner of Junk Brawlers, serving Sandy Springs and Fulton County GA
★ 5.0 60+ Google Reviews

Tony Frias drives down from Dawson County to get here. Sandy Springs is the far end of his route and the least flat part of it, so he asks different questions here: where the truck can stop, how many steps down to the lower level, whether the deck is reachable at all.

Call Junk Brawlers and Tony answers, the owner, not a call center. He quotes the job, leads the crew, and stands behind the number he gave you. No middlemen, no strangers at your door, no surprise line items at the end. He started the company in 2024 and grew it one honest job at a time, and customers put his name in more than half the reviews without being asked.

Yes, and it’s the most common situation on the river side of Sandy Springs. River Chase, Riverside and the Dunwoody Panhandle sit on ground that falls away, so the truck often has to stay near the road while the crew carries up from a lower level or a deck. Yes, and around Glenridge Hammond and Mount Vernon Woods that’s usually the ask. Those 1950s and 60s houses get gutted, so carpet, panelling, cabinets and tile come out the same week the family clears what was already in the house. We load both in one visit instead of you booking a cleanout crew and then a debris crew. See construction debris removal or call (404) 632-9165.
