Gainesville Is a City, Not a Subdivision. The Houses Prove It.

  • An old Gainesville house holds more than a new one. Full basement, walk-up attic, a detached garage nobody has properly opened, and a hauler who quoted it off a room count.
That’s where the Junk Brawlers come in.
  • We ask what is under the house and above it before quoting, because in this part of town that is where the volume is.
  • He drains and hauls lakefront hot tubs right off the dock, no trouble getting to the water and no extra for it.
  • It’s the owner’s name on the truck, and customers name him in over half the reviews. Firm price up front, and that’s the price you pay.

Here’s what it costs.

Stop Living Around It. →

A Couch Is Not a Truckload. Pay for What You’ve Got.

We price by how much space your load fills in the truck. A few pieces is a small load. A whole-room cleanout fills more. You get that number on the call, and it doesn’t move.

Quarter Truck

$150

A few items or a single piece

Half Truck

$300

Sofa, fridge, or a few mixed items

Most single-room jobs

Three-Quarter Truck

$450

Multiple items or a room cleanout

Garage & spare room jobs

Full Truck

$600

Full home cleanout or major haul

Where does a typical job land? A sofa or a couple of appliances is usually a half load. A garage cleanout or multi-room clear-out fills more. You get a firm number before we touch a thing, and it doesn’t change once we’re on site.

His crew hauls everything on that list. First, what that means here.

An Old City With a Working Half.

About 45,000 people, four ZIP codes, and a century of building that predates every subdivision around it.

Household items and bagged debris staged outside an older Gainesville home ahead of a haul

Green Street and the Old Residential Core

The Green Street historic district and the blocks around it are genuinely old housing, from a time when Gainesville was a city in its own right rather than a place people commuted from.

Houses like that hold more. Full basements, walk-up attics, detached garages and outbuildings, and families that stayed for decades rather than five years. When one changes hands it is an estate clearance rather than a tidy-up, and often the people organising it are working through it for a parent.

So it goes at whatever pace suits you. Nothing leaves until you have confirmed it, we will do a room at a time and come back, and anything worth donating or reselling is pulled out before the rest of it goes on the truck.

The truck bed loaded with cabinets, an appliance and debris from a Gainesville commercial clear-out

Limestone Parkway, I-985, and a Town That Actually Works

Gainesville is the commercial centre of Hall County and calls itself the poultry capital of the world, which tells you it is a working city rather than a bedroom one.

That gives us a steady commercial side here that most towns on our route do not have. Retail and restaurant units along Limestone Parkway changing tenants, office and warehouse space off I-985 clearing furniture and racking, and Midtown properties being redeveloped one building at a time.

Newer residential like Mundy Mill sits alongside all of it and behaves like an ordinary suburb: garages, appliances, move-outs. We cover the whole city on the same terms, and Gainesville is close enough to home base that short notice is usually workable.

Here’s the owner who runs the city.

He Works All Four Gainesville ZIP Codes.

Tony Frias, owner of Junk Brawlers, serving Gainesville and Hall County GA
★ 5.0 60+ Google Reviews

Tony Frias is based in Dawson County, about 30 minutes out, which makes Gainesville one of the closer cities on the route. He knows the old streets off Green Street, the Limestone Parkway strip, and which of the four ZIP codes a job is actually in before you finish describing it.

When you call Junk Brawlers, you’re talking to Tony. The owner. He takes your call, gives you the price, and runs the crew that shows up. No call centers. No dispatched strangers. No surprises on the bill. He launched the business in 2024, built it job by job, and got named by name in over half his reviews. Not because he asked. Because people remembered him.

“Tony and his equally strong brother came and even brought the right tools to get the humongous fridge out the door. Then they brought in the garage fridge and we are sipping Gatorade! They are the BEST! Sorry I didn't take a photo of the big fridge or their biceps... they are great!”
